School Student Public Library Account

The Scott County Public Library (SCPL) is launching a new Student Account program for middle and high school students enrolled in Scott County Schools, making it easier than ever to access library resources. Through this program, students will receive a library account with a PIN for online access (no physical card required), allowing them to use online databases and place holds on up to five books at a time. Requested books will be delivered to participating schools on a bi-weekly schedule and may be kept for up to 21 days before being returned to the school’s front office or directly to SCPL. Students may still visit the library in person, and families can request a physical library card at any time for expanded access. Parents/guardians may use the account to monitor checkouts, acknowledge responsibility for lost or damaged materials, and grant permission for participation by completing the required form below. Please fill out the form and send; once verified, SCPL will provide the account details and instructions. For questions, contact the library at 502-863-3566.
