January/February 2024 Bookmobile Schedule
Scott County Public Library is excited to announce our new Library Expressmobile! The Library Expressmobile will now be used for Porch Deliveries and serve as a courier service to the library. This new service will allow us to better serve the needs of our patrons and increase access to our collection. We look forward to seeing you on the road with our bookmobile and Library Expressmobile!
“Library Express” courier stations are located in Sadieville and Stamping Ground. Patrons may return items in the book drop that is located at 131 Springview Drive in Stamping Ground.
Similarly, a book drop is available in Sadieville adjacent to City Hall at 605 Pike Street. In addition, lockers are provided for patrons to pick up library materials on Mondays and Fridays after 6 p.m. in Sadieville.
Here’s how it works: Place items on hold and indicate that the pick-up location is Sadieville. The library will notify you when the items have been delivered to the lockers, and you will have two days to collect them. You will open the locker using the last five digits of your library card number and then press ENTER.
Are you unable to get to the library safely? The Scott County Public Library Outreach Services Department is excited to offer the Porch Delivery Service. Patrons who are unable to visit the library due to age, illness, injury, or hospital recoveries can now have library materials such as books, audiobooks, CDs, & DVDs delivered to their homes. For any questions or to set up a delivery of library materials, please call the Scott County Public Library at: (502) 863-3566.
Our Outreach team enjoys delivering “Baby Packets” to new parents at Georgetown Community Hospital, because it’s never too early to foster a love of books and the habit of lifelong learning. All parents are encouraged to visit the library, and explore collections for youth, teens and adults. We also hope they will use our extensive collection of resources covering child development, potty training, and raising a happy, healthy child.
