By bringing the library closer to Sadieville, Scott County Public Library continues its commitment to fostering lifelong learning and engagement among its patrons.

The Scott County Public Library has expanded its services with a new satellite location in Sadieville, bringing convenient access to books, digital resources, and community programs. Starting on Tuesday, January 6th from 1 pm-6 pm this satellite site will operate one day a week inside the Depot, offering residents a closer option for borrowing materials, attending workshops, and joining events tailored to local interests. With this new satellite location, SCPL strengthens its commitment to lifelong learning and community connection while serving more Scott County residents than ever before.

Celebrate the grand opening of the Sadieville Satellite Location with a day full of fun, prizes, and family-friendly activities! To kick things off, the first 25 adults and the first 25 young adults will receive a special prize bundle that includes a book, book bag, coaster, bookmobile notepad, and a pencil. Children will receive their own prize pack featuring a coloring book, bookmark, stickers, a rubber duck toy, and a Hacky Sack. In addition, the first 100 kids who check out a book or attend a program will receive a free Raising Cane’s Kids Combo Meal. Join us on opening day, January 6, for a special storytime at the Sadieville location. The first 15 families to arrive will receive a free copy of The Gruffalo, the book we’ll be reading together.
