We’re excited to share some wonderful news with our community: Scott County Public Library is opening a Satellite Library in Sadieville! This new location marks an important step in expanding library access and bringing our services closer to the people we serve.
Bringing the Library to Sadieville
The Sadieville Satellite Library will offer many of the same services you know from SCPL. Whether you need help with technology, a document notarized, or are looking for engaging programs for children and families, the satellite library will be here to support you.
Our goal is to make the library more accessible and convenient to continue to foster learning, connection, and community.
Hours of Operation
The Sadieville Satellite Library will be open one day a week
- Tuesdays, 1:00pm-6:00pm
This schedule allows community members to stop by after school, after work, or during the afternoon to take advantage of library services without traveling far.

We want to celebrate the opening of the Sadieville Satellite Library with YOU! This new location represents growth, connection, and our commitment to bringing library services closer to you, and there’s no better way to begin than celebrating together.

As a special thank-you for joining us, the first 25 adults, 25 teens, and 25 children in attendance will receive a free goodie bag!

Adults & Teens will receive a book, tote bag, coaster, pencil, and bookmark.

Children will receive a coloring book, hackey sack, rubber duck, stickers, and bookmark.
Along with the goodie bags, the first 100 kids who check out a book or attend a program will receive a certificate to redeem for free Raising Cane’s!
