Adult Services Library Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Description: Under the direction of the Adult Services Manager, the Adult Services Library Assistant is responsible for providing access to the Scott County Public Library's materials and services in a friendly manner by performing a variety of reference, circulation, programming, and clerical functions.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; library experience preferred
Salary: Entry level starting salary $17.00/hour
Hours: Required work schedule (non-negotiable):

•  Week 1:
  • Sunday               2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Monday              4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Tuesday             4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday        4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday             9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• Week 2:
  • Monday              4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday        4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday                 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday             9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

• Week 3:
  • Monday              4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Tuesday             4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday        4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Friday                 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
