Step back in time with the American Revolution Experience, on display at the Scott County Public Library from August 24–September 8, 2026. Made possible through a collaboration between the American Battlefield Trust and the Daughters of the American Revolution, this special exhibit brings the story of America’s fight for independence to life through the people, events, and experiences that shaped our nation. Stop by the library and explore this fascinating look at the American Revolution and the individuals who helped shape American history.

The Art Gallery located inside the Scott County Public Library in Georgetown, Kentucky is a unique space that provides opportunities to enhance the community’s appreciation of the arts. Curated exhibits featured in the Gallery are family-friendly, easily accessible, open to the public during regular library hours, and are free of charge.
The Gallery Curator plans and facilitates two types of exhibits. Solo shows present a large body of work from one artist, while potpourri shows feature the work of a group of artists, each of whom has a more limited body of work or experience.
